After a day in the pool, bicycle to the beach for sunset, or stroll through Beebe woods to the historic Highfield Theater and Arts complex for an evening of culture. Enjoy the clean Cape Cod air during a five-minute bikepath walk to the local coffeehouse, shopping in the village, or lunch at Laureen's. Best Local Coffee Place: Coffee Obsession Best Bike Rental: Corner Cycle Best Lunch Place: Laureen's- Main Street Best Bookstore: Eight Cousins Best Inexpensive Local Seafood: The Quarterdeck Once on Main St. in the heart of downtown Falmouth there is a whole string of restaurants you can try, including Cucina Sul Mare for Italian seafood dining. Another great breakfast place, though not really walking distance away is Mary Ellen's Portuguese Bakery on Main St. near the corner of Scranton Ave. Further down Scranton Ave. toward the Falmouth Marina is Windfall Market, the best grocery store in town.

The Village of Woods Hole

The Bike Path offers either a great walk or ride, cutting through the salt marshes and out along the beach.
